Automations that catch what people miss
I’m an automation developer looking for a full-time remote role. I build n8n, Zapier and GoHighLevel systems that run the repetitive parts of a business, like cash checks, payments and CRM follow-ups, and flag it when something is off.
Roles I’m after: automation developer, GoHighLevel / CRM specialist or AI automation builder. Open to contract work too.

Running in real businesses
Cafe Reconciliation
Checks the cash drawer against the day’s sales, every day, and flags a shortfall the same day.
School Tuition Ledger
Tracks what families owe and pay, kinder to grade 10, with a web app where a person approves every payment.
Forklift Lead Desk
A landing page plus a GoHighLevel pipeline run by six workflows for a forklift sales agent: Messenger and form inquiries answered in minutes, every quote followed up.
Studio Operations Suite
Payouts, stock alerts and project tracking for a tattoo and barber studio, plus the five workflows the owner dropped, and why.

Hey, I’m Chu
Full name Ralph Matthew Marty. Chu is the name I go by.
I spent three years in remote operations and customer support, handling 30–60 chats a shift and the manual reporting behind them.
In 2024 I opened LvlUp, a 15-unit internet cafe. When I stepped back from running it day to day, I needed systems I could trust without being in the room. That’s where my automation work started, in December 2025, after cash went missing at the cafe and nobody noticed for too long.
I build with AI, mostly Claude. I decide what gets built, test it on real data and support it after launch.

From the people who use them
Chu was easy to work with. He took the time to understand how we actually do things in the school and then built the system around that. He was also easy to communicate with, and whenever we had an issue or something needed to be adjusted, he was able to help us figure it out.
Payouts are easier, I get notified when inventory needs attention, and I don’t have to keep everything in my head. If something didn’t make sense for how we operated, we’d change it or just drop it. He was building around how we actually ran the business.
When it breaks, you’ll know where
I keep each platform’s own error reports on. When that isn’t enough, I add my own alerts: the client hears first, and I see which step to fix.

Start from the real problem
Each system starts from one specific failure: unreported cash, payments re-typed by hand, deals going quiet.
- Write the business rules firstTen-month billing, carry-over and two people per payment were written down as rules before any workflow was built.
- Leave out what doesn’t pay offGCash stayed out of the cafe system: every GCash payment already leaves its own record.
Verify against live data
Test data proves the logic; only real submissions prove the system.
- Checking what’s actually runningI compare the live workflows with the design, and fix where they differ.
- Testing the exact edge valuesLead scores of exactly 35, 65 and 70; deals at exactly 10 and 14 days.
Make problems easy to find
The platform’s own error reports first. My alerts add which workflow, which step and when.
- Alerts that name the broken stepThe client hears first, and I know where to look when they need help.
- Guards against double entries and endless loopsA duplicate check before each payment is written to the ledger, and loop guards on the Zaps that write back to the CRM.
Frequently asked questions
Short answers for hiring managers and clients. Anything else, just ask.
What AI work have you done?
Two kinds so far. For the studio suite I built a RAG agent with Gemini and Supabase pgvector that answers customer questions from the studio’s own notes; the owner chose not to use it, because he prefers to answer customers himself. And I build with AI: almost everything here was made with Claude helping me. I set the rules, check what it writes and test every system before it goes live.
What kind of work are you open to?
Full-time remote roles first: automation developer, GoHighLevel / CRM specialist, or AI automation. I’m open to contract work too.
Do you work remotely?
Yes. With international teams and clients I work fully remote. In the Philippines I’m also open to hybrid or on-site work.
What time zone are you in?
UTC+8, in the Philippines. I set my working hours to match the team or client I’m working with, wherever they are.

When can you start?
As soon as possible. If I’m in the middle of a client project when we talk, I’ll tell you up front and we’ll agree on a start date.
Do you only use n8n and Zapier?
n8n and Zapier are where most of my experience is, alongside GoHighLevel, Supabase, Google Workspace and Apps Script, Zoho CRM and Slack. That’s my stack today. I’m open to new tools and keen to learn whatever a team or client already uses.
What do you need from me to start?
Access to the tools involved, and a walkthrough of how the process works today.
Say hello.
